Women's Lacrosse Falls To Boston U. In Opener, 9-8

St. Petersburg, Fla. -- The Temple women's lacrosse team dropped its
season opener, 9-8, in double overtime to 15th ranked Boston Univeristy.
Kelly Ruch led the Owls with four goals and an assist.
Temple led 7-6 with 25 seconds to play in regulation before the Terriers
tied the game to force OT. Ruch put the Owls ahead 8-7 in the first
overtime which must be played for the entire seven minutes. BU tied it
again to force a sudden death overtime before scoring the game winner.
For Temple, Robin Keevan added two goals and an assist while goalie Iris
Alvarado had 19 saves.
