PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple Owls (7-5; 5-0) used a six goal explosion in the

Temple led 7-6 at halftime and used three goals in 17 seconds by Jen
Jefferson (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis), Robin Keevan (Malvern, Pa./Great
Valley) and Kelly Ruch (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) to break open the
close game. Temple's defense shut down the Dukes in the second half allowing

Duquesne (6-3; 2-2) scored the first goal of the game by Kristen Harner
before the Owls stormed back with four of their own. The Dukes kept pace
with two goals from P.J. Harrision and another from Harner to trail 5-4. A
Meghan Hungate goal with 20 second left in the half brought the Dukes within
a goal at the break.
