Ruch Named Lacrosse's Atlantic 10 Player of the Week

Kelly Ruch was named lacrosse's Atlantic 10 Player of the Week. Ruch

(Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) scored 20 goals and added five assists on

the week for 25 points.

She led the Owls in scoring three out of four games this past week. In three

Atlantic 10 wins, she scored 17 goals. Her nine goals in Temple's 18-6 win

over Virginia Tech on Monday ranks third all-time for the Owls and her 11

points ranks second. She tallied three goals and one assist as her team fell

to No. 2 Princeton, 13-10 on Wednesday. Added six goals in the 29-1 win over

St. Bonaventure on Friday and two goals in Sunday's 15-7 win over Duquesne.
