Softball Loses to Villanova's Wildcats

Philadelphia, Pa.-- Temple softball (13-27/ 3-5 A-10) lost April 19 in a doubleheader against Villanova in Villanova, Pa. The Owls lost

the first game, 1-2, and the second game, 1-6.

Junior Holly Mahal scored Temple's only run in the first game while freshman Ashley Caudill went one for two hits with one RBI. In

the second game, Mahal was two for two hits and scored one run for the Owls. Junior Kendra Navarro contributed one RBI.

Temple will compete this weekend at Erny field on Saturday against St. Peters at 1:oo p.m. and will play against conference foe,

Virginia Tech on Sunday beginning at 12 noon.
