Softball's Pflueger Named A-10 Rookie of the Week

Freshman Bari Lynn Pflueger was named the Atlantic 10's Rookie of the Week.

The Allentown, Pa. native finished the week 2-1, helping the Owls clinch the

fourth seed in the Bell Atlantic Atlantic 10 Championship. She recorded two

complete game shut outs in her team's 3-0 win over Fordham on Saturday and

Sunday's 9-0 win over La Salle. Pflueger struck out 10 and allowed one

earned run in 14.1 innings. It was her second Rookie of the Week selection.
