PHILADELPHIA -- Temple women's soccer tamed the Drexel Dragons 4-0 Tuesday afternoon, despite a rain delay and a scoreless first period.

Temple midfielder Cameron Jennings (Richmond, Va./James River) got Temple on the board with what turned out to be the game-winning goal at 49:01. She was unassisted. Junior forward Brandi Wright (Olathe, Kan./Olathe North) found the back of the net at 59:37 for the first of her two-goal day. Sophomore Johanna Yemm (Ft. Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) recorded the assist.

Temple then made a quick double-goal strike. Yemm found the net at 66:27 off a pass from senior Julie Marx (Newark, Del./Newark). Just 77 seconds later, Wright completed the Temple scoring with her second goal of the day from sophomore Marirose Roach (Danielson, Conn./Killingly).

The shutout marks Temple's third straight win and second shutout of the season. The Owls now stand at 6-2. Their next contest sends them to Jersey City, N.J., to play St. Peter's on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 1:00 p.m.
