OWLS LOSE TO GEORGE WASHINGTON 2-1

PHILADELPHIA- Temple women's soccer lost a hard fought Atlantic 10 game to GW 2-1 Friday, afternoon at George Washington's Mount Vernon Athletic Complex.The loss drops the Owls' record to 6-4-1 and 1-2-1 in the A-10.

Temple's junior midfielder Jeanette Hibbs (Philadelphia,Pa/St. Hubert's) opened the scoring on a penalty kick in the third minute.

GW followed with a goal in the sixth minute by junior Reginia Jefferies. The Colonials sophomore Kim Warner scored the winning-goal in the 65 minute.

Temple (6-4-1,1-2-1,A-10) returns to action traveling to Richmond to face the Spiders in A-10 action on Sunday at 1pm.
