OWLS LOSE TO UMASS 2-0 ON SENI0R DAY

PHILADELPHIA --Temple women's soccer loss 2-0 to Massachusetts in an A-10 contest on "Senior Day" at Temple Stadium. Temple's record drops to 6-7-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. UMass raises their record to (10-2,7-0,A-10).

The Owls played excellent transitional soccer creating several scoring opportunities and playing timely team defense.

The Minutewomen freshman Carly Turman scored the game winning-goal in the 44th minute. UMass freshman Erica Wideberg iced the game in the 52nd minute on a goal assisted by junior Alexi Rudd.

Temple freshman net minder Jackie Mauro (Philadelphia ,Pa./ArchBishop Ryan) posted eleven saves many of the saves where in a spectacular manner.

The Owls (6-7-1,1-5-1 will visit A-10 rival Xavier on Friday at 7pm.
