ERCEGOVIC WINS FLIGHT B OF BROWN TENNIS INVITATIONAL

Providence- Sophomore Lara Ercegovic won the Flight B bracket of the Brown Tennis Invitational this past weekend, October 5-7 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Ercegovic defeated Kyli Lasalle of Seton Hall 6-1, 6-0, Christina Causway of Brown 6-3, 6-0 and Courtney Bergman of Harvard 6-3, 4-6, 10-6 to advance to the championship round of the invitational. She then beat Alexis Martire of Harvard 6-2, 6-2 to win to flight.

In doubles action, Ercegovic was paired with Nina Kumar and the duo won the consolation doubles round by beating Brown 8-6.

The Owls compete in the Dartmouth Invitational on October 18-21.
