PHILADELPHIA -- Temple women's soccer lost to Dayton 3-1 at Dayton. Temple's record drops to 6-9-1 overall and 1-7-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Freshman forward Melissa Foley scored the only goal for the Owls in the 52nd minute of the game. Temple freshman net minder Jackie Mauro (Philadelphia, Pa./ArchBishop Ryan) posted eight saves.
Erin Showalter, Jen Simonetti, and Shannon Kuhl scored for the Flyers. The goals were assisted by Tesia Kozlowski and Megan McKnight (2).
The Owls (6-9-1, 1-7-1 A-10) will visit Dayton on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
