OWLS LOSE SEASON FINALE TO FORDHAM 2-0

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple women's soccer team loss 2-0 to Fordham in a Atlantic 10 Contest at Fordham on Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the Owls to 6-11-1 overall and 1-9-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The win raises the Rams record to 9-8-1, 4-7 in the A-10.

The Rams junior Kristin Gellatly scored two goals her team leading 11th and 12th goals of the season.. Gellatly scored the first goal with 2:47 remaining in the first half and added the second goal on a penalty kick in the 61st minute to seal the win for Fordham.Fordham goalkeeper Shannon Misiaszek posted three saves and added to her school record eighth shutout of the season.

Temple goalkeeper Kristin Bakia (Manalapan, NJ/ Manalapan) recorded three saves and freshman sensation Jackie Mauro(Philadelphia,PA./Villa Joseph Marie) posted one save in a relief effort.
