Temple Women to Face James Madison in WNIT

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's basketball team (19-10) accepted an invitation to the Women's National Invitation Tournament and will face James Madison (20-9) Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the opening round of the 32 team postseason tournament.

The Owls have experienced quite a turnaround under head coach Dawn Staley and enter the WNIT for the first time since 1982-83. Temple is 3-3 in WNIT games. The game will be broadcast live on 990 AM WZZD with Jeff Skversky and Danny Pommells calling the action.
