Lacrosse Suffers First Loss Of the Season

PHILADELPHIA (March 16) - The Temple women's lacrosse team (2-1) suffered its

first loss of the season 8-7 at the hands of No. 7 Boston University at Geasey Field March 16.

The Owls jumped out to an early lead and held a 4-2 advantage at halftime. In the second half, Temple held a 6-4 edge before the Terriers went on a 4-0 run to grab an 8-6 lead. The Owls responded with a goal with just 44 seconds remaining but Temple failed to get off a shot in the closing seconds and B. U. held on for the victory.

The Owls return to action this Sunday when they face the No. 16 Old Dominion Monarchs. Game time is at noon.
