Temple University's Response To The BIG EAST Conference Announcement

"We are disappointed in the announcement made today by
the Big East Football Conference concerning Temple University's continued
participation as a member of the Conference."
"We will continue to play Division I-A football as a
member of the Big East Conference. The University and its Board of Trustees
have underscored their vigorous support for the long-term growth of our
football program, building on the significant gains we have made under the
leadership of Coach Bobby Wallace."
"We are confident that the Big East Conference is an
honorable organization that will recognize the accomplishments of the
Temple football program, both on and off the field. We will continue to
pursue a mutually acceptable solution with our Big East colleagues."
