Princeton, N.J. - The Temple lacrosse team (5-5, 1-0) battled the Princeton Tigers (9-1, 3-0) and the elements in a night game on April 11 and came up on the short side of a 15-7 final.

In the first half, Temple trailed 2-0 early but the Owls fought back to tie the contest at 2-2 before the game was ten minutes old. Princeton retook the lead at 3-2 before the Owls answered again to tie the game at 3. Princeton scored two more goals in the first half and had a 5-3 lead at intermission. In the second half, Temple was outscored 10-4 to seal the victory for the nation's third ranked team.

Deanna Radcliffe led the Owls in scoring with three goals and Jen Jefferson added a goal for Temple as well. Due to the inclement weather, the game statistics are incomplete but after reviewing the game tapes, the complete game numbers will be released.
