Softball Hurler Pflueger Earns A-10 Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA (April 2) - Pitcher Bari Lynn Pflueger was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week. Pfleuger was a key factor in the Owls going 5-0 last week, earning three of the Owls' five victories and one shutout for the week. Temple (16-17,5-1 A-10) are currently on a seven game win streak.

The sophomore right-hander hails from Allentown, Pa and attended Parkland High School.Pfleuger leads the Owls in ERA (1.57), Innings Pitched (97.1), Strikeouts (58) and wins with 9.

The Owls (16-17,5-1)will next visit Princeton (5-6,0-0) in a in a doubleheader on Wednesday April 4 at 2:30 p.m.
