Women's Tennis Falls To George Washington In Semis, Meets Xavier In A-10 Consolation Match Sunday

HAMILTON, N.J. - The Temple University women's tennis team was defeated today (Saturday, April 21) by top-seeded George Washington, 4-2, in its bid to reach the championship finals of the Verizon Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament.

The Owls will play for third place in a match slated for an 11 a.m. start versus No. 3-seeded Xavier on Sunday (April 22) at Hamilton Park. At the same time, George Washington will square off with No. 2-seed Massachusetts for the title.
