PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's soccer program signed three players to letters of intent, Theresa Peronace, Christine McInaw and Jackie Mauro.

Mauro is a goalkeeper from Archbishop Ryan High School. She is expected to come in and contribute immediately. "We have great expectations for her" commented head coach Seamus Mc Williams.

Theresa Peronace led Villa Joseph Marie to two Pennsylvania Class AA Championships in her sophomore and senior seasons. In her freshman and junior seasons she suffered serious knee injuries. Both times she returned to lead her team to the state title. The coaches in the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies named her Most Valuable Player. Peronace was also awarded the Courier Times Girls Soccer Player of the Year.

Christine McInaw was selected Second Team District 1 All-Conference out of Upper Dublin High School. McInaw is the daughter of the former Temple men's soccer head coach (95-99) Hugh McInaw. "She clearly will be an important addition to our team," said Mc Williams.
