13-6 Overall; 5-0 Atlantic 10 Conference (1st place); Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament Champion

Ninth-year head coach Kim Ciarrocca guided a youthful team (just one senior on the roster) to the program's first-ever Atlantic 10 Conference Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1998 ... After posting season-opening wins over Connecticut and Lafayette, the Owls gained valuable experience while dropping five of their next eight, including losses to nationally ranked Old Dominion, Virginia and Penn State ... After a 7-15 loss at Princeton, the team won six straight to close out the regular season ... Seeded No. 1 in the A-10 Tournament, the Owls dispatched St. Joseph's, 15-6, then battled long and hard to defeat upset-minded Duquesne, 10-9 in a thrilling overtime final ... The Owls earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, where the season ended in a 17-3 loss at No. 2-seed Duke ... Sophomore Liz Frengs, first team Mid-Atlantic Region All-American; juniors Robin Keevan and Alli Demas, second team Mid-Atlantic Region All-American ... Frengs, Demas, junior Jen Jefferson and junior Sheena Oommen, All-Atlantic 10 Conference Team ... Demas was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Year ... Coach Ciarrocca was named the A-10 Coach of the Year.
