MEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO PENN 7-0

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University men's tennis team (0-1, 0-0 A-10) fell to Penn 7-0 in their first tennis match of the season on January 26.
In singles action, senior Jordan Huffer was defeated by Fanda Stejskal 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles spot while freshman Yhonny Murray lost 6-4, 6-1 to the Quakers David Lynn. Sophomore Guarav Kumar fell to Andrew Kolker of Penn 6-0, 6-0 and freshman Tyler Wynne lost to Ryan Hardwood 6-0, 6-2. Rounding out the Owls was senior Tharso Bossoloni who lost to Penn's Craig Rubin 6-2, 6-0 and Tuarente Jenks who lost to Brian Barki 6-0, 6-1.
The Owl duos of Huffer/Murray, Dan Selig and Kumar and Bossolani/Wynne all fell to the Quakers in doubles action.
Next up for the Owls is a match against American University on February 2 at George Washington Unviersity.
