WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO ST. BONAVENTURE 5-3

The Bonnies were on the board first with a goal by freshman Heather MacDougall followed ten minutes later by another Bonnies goal by Kristen Walcewski. St. Bonaventure's led was increased 3-0 when Lois Bennett scored in the 44th minutes of play. Temple freshman Jaclyn Conn broke the scoreless streak on an unassisted goal to the back of the net.
St. Bonaventure opened the second half with another goal by MacDougall in the 62nd minute. The Owls answered back two minutes later with an unassisted goal by freshman Trish Dalton. The Cherry and White brought the game to within one when senior defender Stephanie Godsell scored on a penalty kick in the 76th minute of the game. St. Bonaventure scored once more in the last ten minutes to secure the 5-3 win.
Owls goalie Jackie Mauro recorded four saves while playing all ninety minutes in the net. Bonnies goalie Breanne Kraly also contributed four saves.
Temple will travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. to take on Duquesne on Sunday, October 13, 2002. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
