WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TRAVELS TO OLE MISS FOR JAN. 2 MATCH UP

The Temple women's basketball team (4-6) will visit the Tad Smith Coliseum (8,700) in Oxford, Mississippi to meet the Rebels of Mississippi (9-2) on Thursday, January 2 at 8 p.m.

The series is tied 1-1 with the Owls winning the last meeting 84-69 on December 31, 2001 at the Liacouras Center.

Mississippi is the second straight SEC opponent for the Owls and the last schedule non-conference game for Temple this season.

The Owls are looking to snap a five-game losing streak and the Rebels are coming off a 76-68 loss to Florida International on Sunday, December 29 in Miami, Florida.

There is no radio or television coverage.
