TEMPLE FALLS IN 16-4 LOSS TO BOSTON UNIVERSITY

ST. PETERSGURG, FL -- Temple University lacrosse (1-1, 0-0 Atlantic 10) lost to the Boston University Terriers 16-4 on Friday afternoon, March 8 in St. Petersburg, FL.

Senior Noelle Cebron (Yorktown, N.Y./Yorktown) and junior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) scored two goals each for Temple. Senior co-captain Jen Jefferson (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) and junior Patience Synnestvedt (Bryn Athyn, Pa./ Academy of the New Church) each added an assist for the Owls.

Katie Nordhoff scored three goals for the Terriers while Ericka Hergenroeder had two goals and three assists. Molly Byrne and Briana Smith each added a goal.

Temple continues on its four game road trip at Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va. this Sunday, March 17, 2002 at 12:00 p.m.
