Pennsylvania Quakers 5-2 at the Levy Pavilion in Philadelphia on Saturday, March 23, 2002.
In singles action, Danira Penic and Lara Ercegovic picked up the only victories for the Cherry and White defeating Nikki Ptak and Sinela Kunovac in straight set victories 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-1 respectively. Senior Nina Kumar, playing in the number three spot for the Owls was defeated by Shelah Chao 6-0, 6-1 while teammate Lauren Verrall lost her match to Michelle Yeh 4-6, 3-6.
In doubles action, Penic and Ercegovic picked up a win by defeating Scweky and Chao 8-6. Kumar and Verrall fell to the Quaker's duo of Kunovac and Kate Willimans 1-8.
Next up for the Owls is a match against Villanova on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 3:00 p.m.
