PHILADELPHIA - The Temple Lacrosse team (3-2, 0-0) opened its home schedule with a 18-14 win over 11th ranked Penn State on March 26 at Geasey Field.

Senior Robin Keevan (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) led the Owls with six goals while junior teammate Jessica Yemm (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) added five. Senior Noelle Cebron (Yorktown, Pa./Yorktown) recorded three assists and one goal for Temple. Goalkeepers Sheena Oomen (junior - New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) and freshman Megan McLouth (Centreville, Va./Centreville) combined for five saves.

Junior Colleen O'Hara (Ardmore, Pa./Ardmore) led Penn State with four goals. Freshman goalkeeper Lee Tortorelli (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) and junior goalkeeper Andrea Sorgi (Norwell, Mass./Thayer) combined for 8 saves.

Temple's next game is Saturday, March 30 at No. 4 Virginia. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
