Fittingly on "Senior Day", senior Noelle Cebron (Yorktown, N.Y./Yorktown) led Temple with 10 points (7 goals, 3 assists) and with her third assist on the afternoon, Cebron broke Temple's all-time single-season assist mark raising her total to 31. Fellow senior Robin Keevan (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley)added six points (4 goals, 2 assists) while senior Jen Jefferson (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) had two goals. The Owls' underclassmen also contributed to the scoring column as junior Jessica Yemm (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) tallied four points (2 goals, 2 assists), junior Liz Frengs (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood) scored three goals, junior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) had a goal and an assist, junior Patience Synnestvedt (Bryn Athyn, Pa./Academy of the New Church) had one assist and sophomore Tiffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) notched a goal and two assists. Goalie Sheena Oommen (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) recorded eight saves in the victory.
Ginger Flocco led Duquesne with four points (3 goals, 1 assist). Kristen Harner (2 goals), Katie Harner (1 goal, 1 assist) Lyndsey Wittmer (1 goal), Lauren Mincher (1 goal) and Laura App (1 assist) rounded out the scoring for the Dukes. Shelly Rank recorded 14 saves for Duquesne.
Next up for Temple, a visit to Duquesne for the 2002 Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Championship beginning Friday, May 3. The top seeded Owls will face the host Dukes while Massachusetts and Richmond will meet in the other pairing.
