OWLS' CEBRON EARNS LACROSSE ATLANTIC 10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

PHILADELPHIA - Senior Noelle Cebron (Yorktown, N.Y./Yorktown) earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors as the Temple lacrosse team (12-4, 7-0) closed out the season with a 3-0 record this week. The victories came against Delaware, St. Bonaventure and Duquesne. Cebron had 21 points on 15 goals and six assists. This marks Cebron's third Player of the Week honor of the season.

In an 11-10 win over Delaware on April 24, the Yorktown, N.Y. native netted three goals. In a 21-4 victory over St. Bonaventure, Cebron posted eight points on five goals and three assists. Cebron tied a season high recording ten points (seven goals, three assists) in a 20-9 win over Duquesne. During the game against Duquesne, Cebron broke the single season assist record with 31. Cebron is second on the career assists list with 82. Cebron has led the Owls in scoring all season with 76 points (45 goals and 31 assists) is second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring.

Temple has an overall record of 12-4 including three losses to nationally ranked opponents (No. 4 Virginia, No. 1 Princeton and No. 18 Old Dominion University) and two wins against top 20 teams (No. 11 Penn State and No 19 Pennsylvania). The Owls boasted a record of 7-0 in conference play this season.

The Owls travel to Duquesne this weekend for the Verizon Atlantic 10 Women's Lacrosse Championship, May 3-4.
