LACROSSE: OWLS' CEBRON NAMED ATLANTIC 10 CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA - Senior Noelle Cebron (Yorktown, N.Y./Yorktown) was named Atlantic 10 co-Player of the Week on April 8. This is her second straight Player of the Week honor. The Owls lacrosse team (6-3) posted a 3-0 record for the week, opening its conference schedule a non-conference win over Lafayette and conference wins over Richmond and George Washington. Cebron totaled thirteen points on five goals and eight assists.

In a 13-6 win over Lafayette on April 2, Cebron netted one goal and an assist. Against Richmond on April 5, the senior attacker totaled four points on two goals and two assists to lift the Owls to a 12-11 double overtime victory. In an 18-4 win over George Washington on April 7, the Yorktown native recorded a season high seven points (two goals and five assists). Cebron leads the Owls in scoring with 30 points on 16 goals and 14 assists.

Temple has an overall record of 6-3 including two losses to nationally ranked opponents (No. 4 Virginia and No. 18 Old Dominion University) and a win against No.12 Penn State.

The Owls return home Wednesday, April 10 at 4:00 p.m. against No. 2 Princeton at Geasey Field.
