DALTON NAMED TO ATLANTIC 10 PRESEASON ALL-ROOKIE TEAM

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University Freshman defender Patricia "Trish" Dalton was named to the Atlantic 10 Conference preseason All-Rookie team as selected by the league's head coaches.
A 2002 graduate of Abington High School, Dalton brings strong credentials to this year's Temple women's soccer team. She is a member of the EYPSA 2001-2002 National Champion Under 17 team, an All-Suburban One League Selection and was named Rookie of the Year at Abington in 1998.
Temple Head Coach Seamus McWilliams said: "I'm not surprised that Trish has already made an impact by being selected to the 2002 All-Rookie team. She plays the game with maturity and confidence and has the instincts of a seasoned college player."
The Owls begin preseason camp on August 17 in Somers Point, New Jersey. The team kicks off the season on August 30, 2002 at the University of Vermont Soccer Tournament.
