FRITZ NAMED ATLANTIC 10 CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA -- Freshman forward Courtney Fritz was named Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 15, 2002.

In the Owls 2-1 win over Siena College, Fritz tallied the game-winning goal in overtime and recorded an assist to notch Temple's third victory of the season. The goal was the first collegiate goal for Fritz.

The Owls take on the Drexel Dragons this Wednesday, September 18 at Drexel. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
