Niagara, N.Y. -- The Temple University women's soccer team (2-1, 0-0 A-10) shut out Robert Morris 2-0 in the first round of the Niagara University Soccer Tournament on Friday, September 6, 2002.

An unassisted goal by freshman Kiana Johnson in the 29th minute of period one proved to be all Temple needed to win their second game of the season. A second unassisted goal by senior Jeannette Hibbs (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) sealed the shutout win for the Owls.

The Owls, under the direction of nine-year Head Coach Seamus McWilliams, will face Niagara University in the championship round on Sunday, September 8, 2002. Game time is at 2:00 p.m.
