WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO HOST EAST TENNESSEE STATE IN HOLIDAY HOME OPENER AT MCGONIGLE HALL

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's basketball team will play its home opener against East Tennessee State on Friday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. at McGonigle Hall. The game marks the first meeting between the two schools in women's basketball.

The Owls (1-1) opened the season on the road last weekend at the Spartan Classic on the campus of Michigan State defeating Florida International, 81-76 on overtime before falling to host Michigan State in the Championship, 78-40. Sophomore center Candice Dupree was named to the all-tournament team. Temple is East Tennessee State's first regular season opponent. The Bucs finished 9-19 last season. The game will not be broadcast.
