LACROSSE FLIES PAST LAFAYETTE, 16-5

Easton, Pa. - The Temple lacrosse team (4-1, 0-0 A-10) picked up its first road victory of the season at Lafayette (1-8, 0-0 Patriot League) 16-5 on Sunday, March 23.

Senior Liz Frengs (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood) led the Owls with four goals and one assist. Junior Tiffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) added three goals, freshman Patty Glavin (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) had two goals and an assist, senior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) tallied two goals, while freshman Andrea Talese (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) rounded out the multi-goal scorers for Temple with two goals. Freshman Nicole Cataldo (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) added a goal and two assists while senior Jessica Yemm (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) and freshman Alexis Kirkwood (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) registered a goal apiece. Senior Sheena Oommen (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) started in goal and had three saves on four shots. Sophomore Megan McLouth (Centreville, Va./Centreville) also played in goal and had five saves on nine shots.

Jennifer Stone and Erin Gallagher each had two goals for Lafayette. Kim Maron also had a goal for the Leopards. Netminder Tracey Williams had 11 saves for Lafayette.

Next up for the Owls a visit to Penn State on Tuesday, March 25. Game time is 3:00 p.m.
