LACROSSE DEFEATED BY No.5 VIRGINIA

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple lacrosse team (4-3, 0-0 A-10) lost to 5th ranked Virginia 16-6 on March 29 at Geasey field.

Seniors Liz Frengs (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood) and Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville,Pa./Perkiomen Valley) along with junior Tiffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) sophomore Megan Condon (Abington, Pa./Abington) and freshmen Corey Leader (Kennett Square, Pa/Wilmington Friends) and Patty Glavin (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) each scored a goal for the Owls. Glavin and fellow freshman Nicole Cataldo each had an assist for Temple. Senior goalie Sheena Oommen (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) had 14 saves for the Owls.

Lauren Aumiller led Virginia with four goals and three assists and was one of four multi-goal scorers for the Cavaliers. Andrea Pfeiffer had six saves for Virginia.

Things don't get any easier for Owls as they host No. 13 Old Dominion on Sunday, March 30 at Geasey Field. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
