LACROSSE FALLS TO No. 13 OLD DOMINION

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple lacrosse team (4-4, 0-0 A-10) lost its third straight game to a nationally-ranked team when it fell to No. 13 Old Dominion 11-5 on March 30 at Geasey Field.

Freshman Patty Glavin (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) led the Owls with two goals. Senior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville,Pa./Perkiomen Valley), freshman Brianne Kingsbury (Souderton, Pa./Souderton) and junior Tiffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) each added a goal for Temple. Senior Jessica Yemm recorded the Owls' lone assist.

Suzanne Wosczyna led the Monarchs with seven goals and two assists.

After falling behind 4-0, Temple rallied to close the gap to 5-3 at intermission. In the second half the Owls struck first on a goal by Radcliffe at 28:51 to trim the lead to one at 5-4. Old Dominon responded with two goals to extend the lead to 7-4 and the Monarchs never looked back.

Temple begins in earnest the defense of its Atlantic 10 Title when it resumes play on Friday, April 4 against UMass on Geasey Field. Game time is 3:00 p.m.
