LACROSSE'S GLAVIN NAMED ATLANTIC 10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA - Freshman Patty Glavin of the Temple lacrosse team was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the week for the week of March 31.

Glavin had six goals and an assist in Temple's three games against nationally-ranked competition. She scored three goals against 11th ranked Penn State, notched a goal and an assist against No. 5 Virginia and was the Owls only multi-goal scorer, netting two goals against 13th ranked Old Dominion.

Glavin currently ranks third on the team in scoring with 20 points (14 goals and six assists) in Temple's eight games. She also leads the Owls in ground balls with 22.
