LACROSSE DEFEATS GEORGE WASHINGTON TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY

Senior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) led the Owls with six goals and three assists. Junior Teffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) added four goals and an assist and freshman Patty Glavin (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) rounded out the multi-goal scorers for Temple with two goals. Senior Jessica Yemm (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin), junior Marie DesMarias (Baltimore, Md./Towson) and sophomore Megan Condon (Abington, Pa./Abington) each tallied a goal for the Owls. Yemm also added an assist. Sophomore Megan McLouth (Centreville, Va./Centreville) saw all of the action in goal for Temple and had nine saves.
Jamie Lee (four goals) and Jenny Heisler (three goals) accounted for all the George Washington goals. Meghan McDonough had five assists on the afternoon for the Colonials. Rachel Abdulla, the sole netminder for George Washington, had seven saves.
George Washington struck fist in the contest and jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Temple scored the next five unanswered and went into halftime leading 8-5. The Colonials also scored first in the second half to close the gap to 8-6 but the Owls outscored George Washington 7-1 down the stretch.
Temple next travels to Pittsburgh to face the Duquesne Dukes on Thursday, April 17. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
