LACROSSE DEFEATS DUQUESNE

4.17.03 | Women's Lacrosse

Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Temple lacrosse team (8-5, 4-0 A-10) topped Duquesne (9-5, 3-3 A-10) 14-8 to remain unbeaten in conference action on April 17 at Duquesne.

Junior Tiffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) led the Owls with five goals and three assists. Senior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegville, Pa./Collegeville) also scored five goals. Sophomore Megan Condon (Abington, Pa./Abington), and freshmen Patty Glavin (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) Nicole Cataldo (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) and Brianne Kingsbury (Souderton, Pa./Souderton) each added a goal for Temple. Condon also had an assist. Sheena Oommen (New Hyde Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) saw all of the action in goal for the Owls and had 14 saves.

Ginger Flocco, Kelly Mulford and Lauren Mincher each had two goals to lead the Dukes. Flocco also had an assist for Duquesne. Sarah Pacini was the primary netminder for the Dukes and had 16 saves on the afternoon.

Temple remains on the road and will face St. Bonaventure on Friday, April 18. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
