LACROSSE NETS 18-10 WIN OVER RICHMOND

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple lacrosse team (6-4, 2-0 A-10) defeated Richmond (6-5, 2-1 A-10) 18-10 on April 6 at Geasey Field.

Senior Deanna Radcliffe (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) and sophomore Megan Condon (Abington, Pa./Abington) led the Owls with six goals apiece. Condon added an assist to give her a seven point afternoon. Junior Tiffany Pulaski (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) had four goals and an assist and freshman Patty Glavin (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) rounded out the multi-goal scorers for Temple with two goals. Freshman Andrea Talese (Lansdale Pa./North Penn) had two assists and junior Erin Malany (Malvern Pa./Great Valley) added an assist.

Libby Berlacher led the Spiders with three goals and two assists. Polly Purcell was the only other multi-goal scorer for Richmond with two goals and an assist.

Temple opened the scoring in the first half and never trailed in the contest. The Owls led 9-5 at the half and outscored Richmond 9-5 down the stretch.

Temple next travels to Princeton, New Jersey for an April 9 matchup with the 5th ranked Tigers. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
