WOMEN'S SOCCER: OWLS EARN NSCA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

PHILADELPHIA- The Temple women's soccer team qualified for the fourth consecutive year for the National Soccer Coaches Association Academic Team award.

The women's soccer program had 15 student-athletes achieve a 3.50 or better, five of the Owls achieved a 4.0 GPA during the fall or spring and the team recorded an overall GPA of 3.228 for the academic year.

The Owls are coached by Seamus Mc Williams. McWilliams is entering his ninth season at the helm of the Temple women's soccer program.

Temple completed the 2002 campaign with an 8-12 overall record and 3-8 Atlantic 10 Conference record.
