CATCH WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HEAD COACH DAWN STALEY AT THE WNBA ALL-STAR GAME

New York, N.Y. - Temple women's basketball head coach Dawn Staley will start for the Eastern Conference in the 2003 WNBA All-Star on Saturday, July 12 at 4:00 p.m. at Madison Square Garden. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.

The game will mark Staley's second straight All-Star selection. She ranks fifth in the league in assists at 5.6 apg. and is third in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.5-to-1.

Staley won the Shootaround Skills Challenge on July 11, coming from behind to defeat Seattle's Sue Bird. Staley's Charlotte Sting is the top team in the Eastern Conference at 12-6 and is in the midst of a four-game win streak. The 5-6 point guard/coach will return to campus this fall to guide the Owls in her fourth season at the helm.
