The Temple University Department of Athletics held its annual football media day today at the Edberg-Olson Hall football facility. The 2003 edition of Owls' football, 102 players strong plus coaches and support staff, proceeded through a series of photo stations before meeting with the media on the field at 3:15 p.m.

Earlier in the day, the team hosted Carousel House, a sports camp for mentally disabled young adults, during the Owls' morning practice at Geasey Field.

After practice, the campers presented Head Coach Bobby Wallace a plaque "For Loyalty and Devotion to the Disabled Athletes of Carousel House."

The Temple Football Program has hosted Carousel House at a preseason practice for six consecutive years, every season that Wallace has directed the program.

Temple begins its 105th season of collegiate football at Big Ten powerhouse Penn State on Saturday, Aug. 30 before hosting city rival Villanova on Saturday, September 6 in the first regular-season football game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Season tickets for the Owls' inaugural season at Lincoln Financial Field are available by calling the Temple Ticket Office at 215-204-5040; Monday-Friday (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.), Saturday (10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) and Sunday (10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.). Season tickets range from $200.00 for Club Seating to $50.00 for reserved end zone seating for children.
