WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFEATED 2-0, IN CHARITY EXHIBITION GAME IN OCEAN CITY

OCEAN CITY, NJ -- The Temple women's soccer team was defeated 2-0, in an exhibition game on Friday, August 22 in Ocean City, New Jersey. The game was stopped with just over 30 minutes to play due to darkness. The match served as a charity exhibition, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Pirates' goals were scored by sophomore Mary Ronau and freshman Rita Massot added another.

The Owls open their season on Saturday, August 30 against North Carolina State in Charleston, South Carolina at 7p.m. On the following day, Saturday, August 31 Temple will take on the host school Charleston at 1:30 p.m.
