TEMPLE-BOSTON COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME TO BE REGIONALLY TELEVISED

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University's home football game against Boston College, scheduled for October 11 at Lincoln Financial Field, will televised by ESPN Regional Television and aired live locally on its Philadelphia affiliate, WB 17, announced Temple Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw. The game, originally scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff, will be moved to a 3:30 p.m. start time to accommodate the telecast.
"We are excited to show off the new home of Temple football, Lincoln Financial Field, to a regional television audience," said Bradshaw. "This is a good opportunity to showcase our football program and the fact that it is also Homecoming Weekend makes it that much better."
The Temple-Boston College game will also be carried live on the New England Sports Network (NESN) and will be part of ESPN Gameplan, a national subscriber-based service.
