CYNTHIA JORDAN NAMED ATLANTIC 10 CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA--Senior Cynthia Jordan was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Co-Player of the Week for the week ending December 11.  Jordan scored a game-high 21 points, grabbed a career-high seven rebounds and dished out five assists in only 27 minutes of play to lead Temple over Penn, 63-46, in the Owls' only game of the week.

 

Ahead 19-12 with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half, Jordan controlled play and accounted for the final 10 points of the half via a basket or an assist. 

 

Jordan is currently third on the team in scoring this season, averaging 11.0 ppg and 4.7 rebounds per game.  She leads the team in assists (29) and steals (13) and is ranked fourth in the conference in assists, averaging 4.14 apg.
