PHILADELPHIA - Former Temple University women's lacrosse standout Robin Keevan has been named an assistant women's lacrosse coach, it was announced on February 19 by Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw.

"I'm pleased to have Robin join our coaching staff," said head women's lacrosse coach, Kim Ciarrocca. "She was an All-American and one of the best midfielders to come through our program. I believe she will be a solid coach, a natural at recruiting and help improve our team," she continued.

Keevan was a two-time regional lacrosse All-American at Temple during the 2001 and 2002 seasons under Ciarrocca and was a four-year starter at midfield for the Owls (1999-2002).

The Malvern, Pa. native helped Temple earn berths in the 2001 and 2002 NCAA Tournaments. She was named to the 2002 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team and was twice named to the A-10 All-Tournament Team (1999 and 2002).

Keevan earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising from Temple in 2003. After graduation, she worked as a personal trainer, fitness coordinator, sales associate and kick boxing instructor at the Downingtown (Pa.) Athletic Club.
