WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TRAVELS TO THE BRONX TO TAKE ON FORDHAM

Temple (16-8, 12-1 A-10) enters the game having clinched the A-10 East. The Owls have won five in a row and eight of their last nine. Temple leads the all-time series, 13-4 and won the last meeting between the two schools, 61-43 on January 6 at the Liacouras Center. Fordham (11-13, 4-9 A-10) has lost five straight. The Rams rank sixth in the conference in scoring defense and third in field goal percentage defense.
Sophomore center Candice Dupree continues to lead Temple in both scoring (13.9 ppg.) and rebounding (7.0 rpg.). Junior guard Cynthia Jordan, the conference leader in assist/turnover ratio (1.87/1), leads the Owls in assists (4.2 apg.), free-throw shooting (82.7 percent) and minutes (32.2 mpg.).
Junior guard Monica Mack tops Fordham in scoring (13.1 ppg.) while fellow junior Stacey Price is the Rams leading rebounder (6.2 rpg.).
The game will not be broadcast in the Philadelphia area.
