TEMPLE FOOTBALL TO HOST FLORIDA A&M ON SEPT. 18

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw today announced that the Owls will host Florida A&M University at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, Sept. 18. The contest replaces the originally scheduled game against the University of Buffalo. Florida A&M was originally scheduled to play at the University of Oklahoma.

"This change transpired as a result of negotiations involving several universities and ESPN," said Bradshaw. "For agreeing to host Florida A&M, one of Temple's 2004 football games will be televised nationally by ESPN."

The Owls' series with Buffalo has been postponed. The series will begin during the 2006 campaign in Buffalo.
