SOFTBALL GAME WITH PRINCETON POSTPONED

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University softball game scheduled for today at Princeton has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest is re-scheduled for tomorrow at Ambler Softball Complex. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

Coming off a 2-2 homestead against Fordham and Villanova over the weekend, the Owls (14-13) look for a non-conference win against Princeton. The weekend featured sensational pitching from Temple's Kim Watkins and Richelle Villescas, as each pitched one near-perfect game. A single into centerfield in the seventh inning broke-up Watkins's no-hitter against Fordham on Friday, March 26. Villescas also gave up the only hit of the game in the seventh inning against Villanova on Sunday, March 28. Both Watkins and Villescas recorded complete game shut-outs for the victories.
