PENN STATE BLANKS TEMPLE, 7-0, IN WOMEN'S TENNIS

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Temple women's tennis program's spring trip started off on the wrong foot as the Owls fell to Penn State, 7-0, in a match held on the campus of Florida State University. With the loss, Temple falls to 1-7 on the season.

Laura Seiverling was the only Owl to extend her match to three sets, losing to Sarah Spenc3, 6-1, 2-6, 10-8.

The Owls were without number one singles player Danira Penic, who missed the match due to illness. This forced Temple to default at number six singles.
